AI tools don’t see prompts the same way
MidJourney vs Seedream made me realize this.
Hey 'there',
I wanted to see what happens when you run the same prompt through two different AI tools.
So I tested MidJourney and Seedream side by side.
Here’s what stood out:
MidJourney → feels more creative, artistic, full of imagination
Seedream → feels more real, crisp, close to photography
Both gave beautiful results, but in very different ways.
Quick tip: Seedream is available on OpenArt.
The cool part? OpenArt has multiple AI models under one roof. You’ll find:
Image tools like Seedream, Flux, Nano, Banana, MidJourney-style models
Video tools like Runway, Veo, Kling, Hailuo, and many more
No need to jump between apps. Everything sits in one place.
Prompts I used are attached - so you can try the exact same experiment yourself.

A young woman in her early 30s, mixed ethnicity, clear skin, lightly textured auburn hair in a messy bun, a single faint freckle on her cheek. She is sitting cross-legged on a polished wooden floor, one hand gently resting on her thigh. She wears an oversized off-white linen shirt, soft and natural, a thin gold necklace with a tiny pendant resting on her collarbone. Minimalist apartment interior with a large window, raw wood textures, serene atmosphere. Eye-level shot, 35mm lens, f/2.8, shallow depth of field. Soft diffused natural light entering from the window, subtle lens flare, faint motion blur on her shifting hand. Linen weave texture, natural reflections on gold. Serene, peaceful, quiet mood. 4K, Instagram format.

Close-up of a young woman’s hands, early 30s, mixed ethnicity, clear skin with fine lines and slight knuckle asymmetry. Long slender fingers cradling a warm ceramic mug. A thin gold signet ring on her index finger, a delicate silver chain on her wrist. Placed on a raw wooden table with visible grain. Macro shot, 100mm lens, f/1.8, sharp focus on jewelry and skin. Hard, high-contrast side lighting from a single source. Matte ceramic texture, pores visible, wood grain rich. Slight vignette effect, ultra-sharp focus on ring with soft fall-off. Mood intentional, focused, grounded. 8K resolution.

Close-up of hands in an expressive gesture, faint scar on the ring finger. Fingers gently pulling back the sleeve of a wool sweater. A thin gold bracelet visible on the wrist. Sunlit, neutral-toned room. Macro close-up, 100mm lens, f/2.2. Soft diffused studio lighting. Textures of detailed wool weave, skin tones, subtle reflections on the bracelet metal. Minimal blur, sharp focus on fabric and jewelry textures. Mood tactile, gentle, intimate. 8K resolution.

A woman in her mid-30s, fair skin, long wavy brown hair blowing gently with slight flyaway strands. Full-body shot, walking slowly away from the camera along a coastal path lined with blurred golden grass. She wears a flowing silk dress in a neutral tone, a delicate hoop earring faintly visible through her hair. Tracking dolly shot, low angle, 35mm lens, f/2.8. Golden hour sunlight, warm and soft, casting rim light on her figure. Textures of flowing silk fabric, soft grass, wispy hair strands. Subtle motion blur on hair and background, lens flare, dreamy bokeh. Mood lyrical, peaceful, dreamy. 4K output.

Realistic close-up of a woman with natural skin, no makeup, looking into the mirror, morning light, calm mood, honest emotion.
Sometimes the question isn’t which tool is better, but which one matches your vision.
Which one do you think you’d use more often: the artistic style of MidJourney or the realism of Seedream?
